Segway inventor Dean Kamen's very first Segway(Segways) was invented by a scientist from Canada, Dean Kamen, and it was presented to the public in 2001 in the popular television program "Morning America". Dean himself demonstrated it, positioning it as a completely new way to travel the streets of cities. The very name of the invention speaks about itself, since "segue" means "smoothly from one to the next." They are intended for absolutely all people, regardless of age, since they do not require special skills.

Inside, the Segway electric scooter has special gyroscopes to help maintain balance. And also on board, there are tilt sensors that are responsible for monitoring the center of gravity of the passenger and are triggered about 100 times per second. Thanks to this technical equipment, the driver has a special feeling that he is sliding through the air.

The Segway weighs up to 30 kg. The maximum speed is 20.1 km / h. Power is approximately 2 horsepower. In 2003, the miracle transport hit the market, and already in 2006, a lineup was released. The x2 model is designed for rough terrain, the i2 model has excellent maneuverability and is suitable for use in the city.

In addition, in 2006 in the Segway there was a function "light steering", turning it left-right, the transport is activated. In 2010, Jimi Heselden bought the company, but unfortunately, he was soon killed in an accident while driving the x2 in West Yorkshire. (hoverboards)It was an accident, he lost control of the Segway, hitting the root of a tree, and as a result, fell off a cliff. Jimmy Heselden was a very resilient and generous philanthropist, and he planned to take the Segway to the next level. His works are not forgotten, the development of a new, in all respects, transport continues.
